Troops, Boko Haram Terrorists In Gun Duel

Troops of the Nigeria Army and suspected members of Boko Haram on Saturday engaged in a gun duel at Babbangida, the headquarters of Tarmuwa LGA of Yobe State.

Naija News understands that the terrorists had stormed the town and started shooting sporadically.

A reliable source told Daily Post that troops stationed in the town engaged the attackers in a gun duel, though he could not ascertain the level of destruction or loss of lives.

The attack came when activities at Babbangida weekly market were at their peak, hence forcing business operators to desert the market.
