The governorship candidate of the All Blending Party in Kogi State, Umar Bamaiyi, has stated that he has no plan to step down for any candidates contesting in the November governorship election in the state. The ABP governorship candidate stated this is a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos State on Thursday.

2. Osinbajo Petitions Google On Defamatory Posts

Google has been petitioned to pull down a video, said to be containing defamatory contents against Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, published by Roots TV on YouTube. Femi Atoyebi & Co, solicitors acting on behalf of the Vice-President wrote the petition.

3. 74th UNGA: Presidency Defends Buhari Over Climate Action Summit

The Presidency has condemned attacks on President Muhammadu Buhari over his response to a question at the United Nations Climate Action Summit 2019. The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) are not under any probe, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said. 5. Vice President Osinbajo Waives Immunity To Clear Name On Fraud

The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, says he is ready to waive his constitutional immunity to “enable the most robust adjudication” of several baseless allegations, insinuation, and falsehoods against his person and office. Naija News reports that the Vice President made this declaration on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, on Wednesday, September 25.
