Dennis Siasia, the younger brother to former Coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, has narrated how his 76-year-old mother was abducted.

Naija News reports that Madam Ogere Siasia was kidnapped at her residence in Odoni community of Sagbama Local Government council of Bayelsa State.

The kidnap of the 76-year-old mother of the former Super Eagles striker, Samson Siasia, makes it the second time she’s being kidnapped in four years.

Multiple sources report that the mother to the former coach was kidnapped by armed men early Monday, and whisked away to a location that is yet to be identified.

Recall that the mother to the former Super Eagles coach was kidnapped in November 2015, but was apparently released 12 days after.

Speaking to Daily Post, Dennis Siasia stated that the kidnappers whisked away their aged mother without her Blood Pressure drugs and mobile phone.

He noted that the inability of their mother to remember phone numbers off-hand may have slowed down contacts from her abductors.

“Yes, the abductors have not contacted the family. We have reported to the Police. She was taken away without her drugs and phone. Even if they ask her for our numbers, she would not be able to help because she cannot recall mobile numbers. We are full of prayers and hoping she would be released soon.”

The incident, which occurred during the early hours of Monday shocked the community as two other family members, Madam Florence Dounana, 65 years, and her daughter, Selekere Dounana, 17 years, were also kidnapped.

The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State command and the command’s tactical team has visited the scene of the crime.

The command in collaboration with other security stakeholders have launched a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators and rescue the victim.
