Samuel Ortom’s Victory In Benue State Is The People’s Choice – Ben Bruce

The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce, has reacted to the victory of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue state, Samuel Ortom.

Recall that Naija News had reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Governor Samuel Ortom as the winner of the Benue State election.

Ortom won his second term in office after defeating the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Emmanuel Jime.

The Returning Officer in the state, Prof Sebastian Maimako, stated that Ortom scored 434,473 votes to defeat Jime, who scored 345,155 votes.

While reacting to Ortom’s victory, Ben Bruce took to his Twitter account to congratulate the Govenor elect, he stated that his victory was the people’s choice.

He wrote: “Hearty congratulations His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom.”

“You’re indeed the people’s choice and no delay could take this away. Your victory is a victory for the great people of Benue State. #BenueDecides”.
