Police Arrest Kano Commissioner

Police operatives in Kano state have apprehended the Kano state commissioner for special duties, Muktar Yakasai.

Naija News reports that the Police officers who were on election duty, arrested the Kano state commissioner for Special Duties, during the early hours of Saturday.

Naija News understands that Yakasai allegedly led some thugs to disrupt the ongoing election at Yelwa Secondary School in Dala Local Government Area of the state before he was apprehended.

Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Police in the state, Abdullahi Haruna proved abortive.

However, witnesses of the arrest revealed that Yakasai was arrested alongside some of the thugs he came to the venue with.
