Former Manchester United player, Owen Hargreaves, has lauded Chelsea’s manager, Maurizio Sarri, for using N’Golo Kante and David Luiz, in his side’s 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.
Goals from N’Golo Kante and David Luiz helped the blues to hand City their first defeat in the English Premier League this season.
“I thought City at the start of the game were by far the better team, and if they had taken their chances they could have been out of sight,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.
“But really for Maurizio Sarri, that is a feather in his cap in terms of playing N’Golo Kante in that position and David Luiz coming back after having a nightmare, so for Sarri, his football won.
“It was a big result for them.”
Chelsea will next play Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday.
