2 Police Officers Killed, 5 Others Injured By Gunmen In Kaduna

A yet to be identified gang of gunmen on Wednesday morning, attacked and killed two mobile policemen attached to International Breweries, located along Nnamdi Azikiwe bypass, Kaduna, Kaduna State.

The gunmen, arrived the company at about 5:00a.m and opened fire on the policemen immediately.

The shooting according to sources, resulted in the death of two mobile police officers while five other officers were seriously injured during the shoot out.

A visit to the emergency unit of Saint Gerald Catholic Hospital by Daily Sun, where the victims and survivors were taken for morgue service and treatment, the survivors were noticed to be in obvious pains even as they were being treated by hospital staff.

When contacted on the issue, Police Public Relations Officer for Kaduna Police Command, DSP Yakubu Sabo, was not able to give details on the happeining but promised to make information available as soon as he has it.
