The protesters chanting solidarity songs and displaying placards bearing different placards such as ‘Omolori pay us our entitlements occupied the White House lobby of the NASS Complex.  Others bear words like’ ‘we are tired of working without pay, please pay us.

The protesters are also demanding for their Duty Tour Allowance which they say they have not collected for the past three years. The protesters further complained about the lack of training.

The lawmakers as at the time of filing this story were yet to resume plenary. There maybe no plenary as traditionally, the lawmakers must mourn one of their own by adjourning for a day as a mark of respect.
