The National Assembly Clerk, Omolori Refuses To Enter The Complex

The Clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani Ataba Omolori, has refused to enter the National Assembly complex following access given by  operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

The number one bureaucrat of the legislative arm stated this when he was greeted by a heavy security presence at the gate of the Assembly complex.

Omolori, who came in at exactly 9: 52am was told by the operatives that he could go into the complex based on personal recognition.

But Omolori pointedly told the masked security men: “I can’t enter the office when every of my staff is locked out. Even if I decide to go in, there will no one to open the office for me because I don’t keep the office keys.”

He said  “If I can’t go in with my staff, then what am I going to do?”

He later put a call through to someone after which he returned to his black SUV and took his leave.
