Saraki Submits Presidential Nomination And Interest Form To PDP

Senate President Bukola Saraki has taken to twitter to announce the submission of his presidential nomination and expression of interest to the Peoples Democratic Party today.

Recall Saraki declared is intention to contest as Nigeria President come 2019, few weeks ago at Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, while addressing young politicians and aspirants who are interested in running for public office in 2019.

He explained his reason for running for presidency as  “answering the call of teeming youth who have asked me to run for President. Accordingly, I hereby announce my intention to run for the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the coming General Elections in 2019 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). I do so with the firm conviction that I have what it takes to secure inclusive growth for Nigeria and Nigerians.”

Just a day after declaring his intention to contest as Nigeria President come 2019, Saraki obtained the Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms from the Peoples Democratic Party, with the help of Director General of his Presidential Campaign Organization, Hon. Mohammed Wakil,
