Osinbajo Had Lunched  Empowerment Programme For 30,000 Traders

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has been attacked by the Peoples Democratic Party, over the empowerment of some traders with 10,000 in Osun State by the federal government.

Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP’s spokesperson, stated that it was a shame decision that Osinbajo could accommodate empowering “Agbo jedi” sellers with #10,000 in Osun State.

Ologbondiyan, who shared a photo of those empowered on his Twitter handle wrote, “It’s a shame that a pastor and a professor of law, VP @ProfOsinbajo will stoop this low to encourage the 10k “agbo jedi” empowerment in Osun.

“Aregbe has made life so pitiable for Osun citizens.

Recall that Osinbajo had on Monday arrived in Iwo, Osun State, to launch an empowerment programme for 30,000 traders across the state.

The programme tagged ‘Tradermoni’ is an initiative of the Federal Government in collaboration with the Bank of Industry for petty traders.

Each of the 30,000 traders are billed to receive the sum of N10,000 to boost their businesses.

Toyin Adeniji, the Executive Director of BOI, stated that the bank would not relent until every Nigerian who is willing, has access to loans irrespective of their status or level of education.
