Britain Richest Man Reported To Make Offer For Chelsea

There has been reports making round that Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, wants to let go of the club for the price tag of 2.5 billion euro.

Recall that the Russian businessman, was denied a new visa to access UK back in May.

Further light into the issue reported that he hired US investment bank Raine Group to seek interest from investors in China, US and Middle East.

Abramovich’s £2.5bn valuation would more than treble the previous most expensive takeover in football history when the Glazer family bought Manchester United for £790m.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Britain’s richest man, is believed to have made a 2 billion euro offer this summer, which was rejected.

However, the Chelsea owner has denied any report that he wants to sell the club.
