President Muhammadu Buhari, who had earlier revealed in a press statement that the 2018 Appropriation Bill will be signed into law has fulfilled the promise.
Buhari, put a signature to the bill on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
President Buhari Accuses National Assembly Of Padding 2018 Budget
President Muhammadu Buhari has accused the National Assembly of manipulating the 2018 budget sent to them by cutting essential projects and inserting non-essential ones.
Naija News learnt that Mr Buhari stated this while signing the 2018 budget into law.

The National Assembly leadership has confirmed the allegation raised by President Muhammadu Buhari on the manipulation of the 2018 budget estimates sent to the lawmakers.
In their reaction, Bala Na’ Allah, the deputy leader of the Senate who represented Senate President Bukola Saraki, and the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, who represented Speaker Yakubu Dogara,said the lawmakers had no option than to tinker with the budget estimates. Mr Na’ Allah said their job as parliamentarians is a difficult one.

The attention of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been drawn to alleged cases of intimidation, abuse of office, corruption and gross misconduct of public offices under his watch.
The complaint which is contained in a memo sent to Nigeria’s number two citizen by Yushau A. Shuaib, a copy of which was made available to Naija News, urged Osinbajo to use his good office, his position as a clergy man and a legal luminary to address the injustices suffered by the identified civil servants.

Ebonyi State Police command today uncovered Improvised Explosive Device, IED (Bomb) at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Secretariat along Abakaliki Enugu Expressway.

FG Moves To Secure Borders, Commissions New Curriculum, Training Manual For NIS
In a bid to tackle the issue of land border porosity in Nigeria, the federal government has commissioned a new curriculum and training manual for four training institutions of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS.
The training centres where the new schemes of study would be used include the Command and Staff College, Sokoto, Nigeria Immigration Training School, Kano (ITSK), Nigeria Immigration Training School, Orlu and Nigeria Immigration Training School, Ahoada.
