Arsenal Launch Bid For Players Ahead Of New Season
Arsenal have reportedly held talks with Emil Forsberg’s agent over the possibility of bringing the RB Leipzig midfielder over to the Emirates stadium in England, claims SportExpressen.
The Sweden international is also said to be a subject of interest for Atletico Madrid and Juventus, though German club, Leipzig are insisting there player is not for sale this summer.
Leipzig are interested in signing Forsberg to a new deal, however, an offer in excess of £45 million ($60.1m) is likely to make the Bundesliga outfit change their mind on the sale of the player.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s new coach, Unai Emery, is also said to be interested in signing Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, according to Sky Sports.
Emery made an attempt to sign Seri during his time as PSG boss, but was frustrated by Financial Fair Play rules.
Seri is understood to have an agreement with Nice that allows him to leave if an offer of £35 million (€40m/$47m) or more comes in.
