Amount spent on each statue in Imo revealed.

The Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha on Electronic Media, Dr. Ebere Nzeworji, has disclosed the cost of each of the statues of some African leaders erected by the governor in Owerri, the State capital.

Nzeworji, while reacting to reports that each of the statues cost N520 million, said each statue cost between N400,000 and N500,000.

Naija News gathered that the governor’s media aide, who revealed this in an interview with Peoples’ Voice at Darlying FM in Owerri, said “it was not true that millions were spent on erecting statue.”
