Nigerians reflect on June 12, 1993 presidential election
Twenty five years after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 presidential election in Nigeria, the acclaimed winner of the poll, late Chief MKO Abiola, has been conferred with the title of GCFR by President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was done On Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at an event held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Ambassador Baba Gana Kingibe, Abiola’s running mate and Late Gani Fawehinmi were also awarded the GCON title.
