Obaseki Sacks Oboh As Head Of Edo Security Network, Appoints Replacement
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has sacked the Director of Operations of the Edo Security Network, Emmanuel Oboh.
A statement on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq said the sack is with immediate effect.
The statement added that Governor Obaseki has also approved the appointment of Mr. David Olukoga as the new Director of Operations of the Edo Security Network.
Olukoga is to immediately take over from Emmanuel Oboh, Naija News reports.
The statement reads: “The Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the immediate disengagement of Emmanuel Oboh, Director of Operations of the Edo Security Network. The disengagement of Emmanuel Oboh takes immediate effect.
“The governor has, in his stead, approved the appointment of Mr. David Olukoga as the new Director of Operations, Edo Security Network. He is to take over with immediate effect.”
Ogie added, “Oboh has been directed to handover all government property in his possession to the new Director of Operations.”
Police Deny Gunmen Attack On Fayose
The Osun State Police Command on Tuesday reacted to gunmen’s alleged attack on the younger brother of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Isaac.
The state command described the report that he escaped being abducted while on his way to Lagos State as false.
According to the spokesperson of the command, Yemisi Opalola, Isaac had an accident while trying to make a U-turn over a report of an attack along the expressway.
Opalola disclosed that the command had reached out to Isaac to give detailed information about the incident.
