Governor Bello Storms APC Secretariat, Meet Committee Members (Video)

The Niger State Governor, Sani Bello, is currently in a closed-door meeting with some members of the caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress.

There are reports that Bello is meeting with the party committee ahead of his move to assume the leadership of the party.

This is coming at the time President Muhammadu Buhari allegedly removed the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, as the chairman of APC’s caretaker committee.

A voice heard in a video spotted by Naija News described the Niger State Governor as the Chairman.

It was gathered that Bello is currently meeting with nine out of the 12 members of the Caretaker Committee of the party.

Recall that the National Secretary of the caretaker committee, John James Akpanudoedehe, on Monday described the report that Buni had been removed as chairman as fake and baseless.

Akpanudoedehe called on members of the ruling party to disregard the news.
