Oba of Benin Summon Emergency Meeting With Chiefs, Others
The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II has summoned Benin Chiefs, market women and other residents of Benin Kingdom to an emergency meeting at his palace today.
According to a terse statement signed and released by the Secretary of Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor, on Thursday, the meeting will commence by 10am.
However, no reason was given for the emergency meeting at the time of publishing this report.
