#EdoDecides: Commissioner Of Police Order Release Of Election Observers

The Commissioner of Police in Charge of Edo State Governorship Election has ordered the released of Election Observers who were earlier detained.

An Assitant Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan at Esan Central Divisional Police Headquarters, had earlier detained them.

Information gathered revealed that they were detained due to lack of recognition by the security operatives.

Meanwhile, supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress in Edo State clashed in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.

The reaction of people at the scene shows that the cause of the fight is due to a monetary issue.
