Presidency Reacts To Latest US Visa Ban, Set Up Committee

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday revealed that he has set up a committee to study and address the latest United States visa ban.

Naija News recalls that the United States had revealed that it placed a fresh ban on Nigeria and other countries due to failure to comply with its established identity-management and information-sharing criteria.

Chad Wolf, acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, said the new immigration restrictions were designed to “address security concerns in the way the banned countries track their own citizens, share information with the U.S. and cooperate on immigration matters”.

Boko Haram Release Horrific Beheading Video Of CAN Chairman

A horrific video showing the beheading of a branch chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Michika local government of Adamawa state,  Rev. Lawan Andimi by Boko Haram terrorists has surfaced on the internet. Naija News had reported in January that the Boko Haram fighters killed Rev. Andimi after the CAN Chairman refused to renounce his fate.

Pastor Adeboye Leads Massive Protest Against Insecurity In Nigeria (Video)

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Sunday, led other worshippers in a massive protest against the current state of insecurity in Nigeria.

The popular clergyman, joined by other members of the church, took to the streets of Lagos state, with placards bearing various inscriptions such as ‘all souls are precious to God’, ‘stop the killings’ God hurts when his creature hurt’ etc.

Suicide Bomber Arrested At Winners Chapel

An attempt by a suspected suicide bomber to blow up a chapel of the Living Faith Church located at the Sabo metropolis of Chikun Local government area of Kaduna State on Sunday has been foiled.The suicide bomber reportedly beat the security to gain entrance into the church building but was apprehended before he could carry out the deadly act.
