Why I Agreed To Become Tottenham’s Coach – Mourinho

Newly appointed Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho has revealed what made him agree to become the manager of the North London club.

Speaking after his appointment, Mourinho noted that the abundant talent in the first team, as well as the academy, convinced him to join the English Premier League side.

“I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters.

“The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me,” he said.

Recall the Portuguese coach, who had coached Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid and Manchester United in the past took over at Tottenham from Mauricio Pochettino who was sacked by the club on Tuesday.

Mourinho, who had been out of work since leaving Manchester United in December 2018 signed a deal which will see him take charge of Tottenham till the 2022/23 season.
