Adamu Mohammed Confirmed As Police IG
The Police Council on Thursday confirmed Adamu Mohammed as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP).
His confirmation was disclosed at the police council meeting which was chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The chairman of the police service Commission, Musiliu Smith and the 36 Governors are also part of the meeting.
Buhari had appointed Mohammed acting IGP on January 15 after the retirement of former IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
