Police Set Up New Unit In Zamfara To Tackle Bandits

In a bid to tackle rampaging bandits in Magami village in Maradun local government in Zamfara state, Police have deployed another unit to the place.

According to the Police Command in Zamfara said unit comprises Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) and the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS)

In a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Mohammed Shehu in Gusau yesterday,said the move is to complement efforts of the police and other security operatives already there.

He said the security operatives would keep working till there is peace in the community.
