16 Teams Qualify For Champions League Knock Out Stage

Following the conclusion of the group stage games in the 2018/2019 champions league competition, the 16 teams moving to the next stage have been determined.

Despite their shock loss yesterday as earlier reported by Naija News, both Real Madrid and Juventus still qualified as group winners.

Other teams that finished as group leaders are Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, PSG, FC Porto, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.

The teams that qualified from their groups as runners up are Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, Liverpool,
Schalke 04, Ajax, Lyon, Roma and Manchester United.

The draw for the first round of the knock-out stages will take place on Monday, December 17, at Uefa’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Group winners will be seeded and will be away for the first-leg matches, which are scheduled for February 13/14 and 19/20.

The second-leg games are scheduled to be played on March 5/6 and 12/13.
