Tunde Ednut Goes Offline Amid Claims Of Evidence-Gathering Plot Against Him, VDM

Popular Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut, has been off social media for over 10 hours following allegations by humanitarian advocate, Livinus Nwosu, that the Department of State Service (DSS) is trying to gather dirt on Ednut and controversial blogger, Very Dark Man (VDM).

A check by Naija News on Tunde Ednut’s page shows that he has not shared any post online for more than 10 hours, which is quite unusual.

Nwosu had earlier alleged that he was arrested by security operatives in Bayelsa while on his way to register as a voter.

However, he stated that he was later released after undergoing questioning by the authorities.

In a video on his social media page, VDM claimed that Nwosu sent him a series of messages after his release, stating that DSS was trying to gather evidence against him and Tunde Ednut.

The message which VDM shared in his video read, “Boss, good evening from here

“They have granted me bail

“I’m home now

“Thank you very much, I’m grateful

“Boss, these people forcefully took your number from me and asked me not to tell you

“They arrested me, but na your matter they just dey ask me

“Even Mazi Tunde, but thank God I did not save his number with “Mazi Tunde”

“They asked how often we talk and when you will come back

“They asked if you’re the one that instructed me to go on the campaign of Renewed Mind

“These people are just trying to get any available information about you

“One big boss there that’s a woman said next time they will carry me, I won’t come out

“They first said I’m sleeping with. Reason of my arrest that I’m inciting the public against government

“They forced me to write an undertaking that I will not try to print any banner showing the killings in the nation or post it on my page

“When I questioned them, they hit me

“They asked me to make a video that I willingly wrote the undertaking and that I have “renewed my own mind” to see reasons why what I’m sharing is bad.”

VDM, who is currently outside the country, warned the agency against arresting his associates. He also revealed his planned return date, stating boldly that he is not afraid of being arrested.
