Priscilla Ojo Reacts To Claims That Juma Jux Bought AFRIMA Award
Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has reacted to fresh rumours surrounding her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, after he won an award at the 2026 AFRIMA ceremony.
Naija News reports that the claims surfaced after Juma Jux was announced as the Best Male Artiste in Eastern Africa at the 9th edition of the African music awards, held on Sunday, January 11, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Shortly after the win, some social media users began suggesting that the award was bought.
Priscilla celebrated her husband’s achievement on her Snapchat page, where she shared a congratulatory post and expressed pride in his success.
“Congratulations, baby. So proud of you!!” she wrote.
Her message, however, drew a negative response from a follower who accused the couple of paying for the award.
The follower commented, “Award wey una buy o.”
In response, Priscilla dismissed the allegation and told the critic to stop spreading hate at the start of the new year.
“Belle, it’s a new year, stop hating, girl,” she replied.
This is not the first time Juma Jux has faced such claims.
After he won Best East African Artiste at The Headies in the past, a social media user suggested that his marriage to Priscilla was a strategy to gain fame and awards in Nigeria.
Priscilla reacted at the time, saying her husband was smart and hardworking.
