Tinubu Sued For Allegedly Appointing APC Loyalists As Top INEC Officials

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late South-West politician, Moshood ‘MKO’ Abiola, as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.

Naija News reports that the latest appointment comes barely two months after Tinubu appointed another member of the Abiola family, Jamiu Abiola, as Special Assistant on Special Duties.

According to a post via X, Rinsola would be working with the leadership of the Ministry of Youth, promoting civic education, political literacy and inclusion of marginalised groups.

Similarly, Tinubu appointed Titilope Gbadamosi as Special Assistant on the Delivery and Monitoring of Youth Initiatives.

She is assigned to design effective operational strategies to ensure the deliverables of youth initiatives align with the promises of Tinubu’s administration to the Nigerian youths.

The appointments were confirmed in statements by the presidency on Friday.

Asari Dokubo Speaks On Fighting President Tinubu

Meanwhile, former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has debunked reports of any form of fight or rift between himself and President Bola Tinubu.

According to Dokubo, his relationship with Tinubu is personal and transcends politics.

Speaking when he played host to popular businessman, Tein Jack-Rich at his country home in Obuama in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, Dokubo repledged his loyalty to President Tinubu.

During the visit, Jack-Rich also appealed to Asari Dokubo to remain unwavering in his support for President Tinubu to achieve his economic blueprint for the development of Nigeria, in which the Niger Delta would be a major beneficiary.
