German Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt are making efforts to sign Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi for €18 million.

Reports claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt and Rafiu Durosinmi’s current club, Viktoria Plzen, have already started negotiations.

Frankfurt sees Durosinmi as the ideal replacement for Randal Kolo Muani, who left for Paris Saint-Germain during the summer.

According to Bild reports, Durosinmi had fruitful first negotiations with The Eagles and his Czech Republic side. Frankfurt have reportedly gotten to the stage of discussing potential transfer fees.

The Bundesliga side are said to be willing to pay the Czech team €18 million for the Nigerian youngster.

Before rupturing his knee ligament this season, the 20-year-old Nigerian was performing admirably for the Czech team. He has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists so far this season.

Frankfurt believes the forward will be back to 100% fitness by the start of the January transfer window.

The 1.92-meter-tall striker is well-known for his strength, aerial skill, and quickness when handling the ball.

Frankfurt will, however, have to deal with competition from another Bundesliga rival, VfL Wolfsburg. It however looks like Frankfurt appears to be the favourite to grab his signature.
