'I Have Mixed Feelings' - Seyi Law Begs Nigerians After Supporting Tinubu To Victory

Nigerian actor and comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, with the stage name Seyi Law, has reacted to the proposed purchase of a N5 billion presidential yacht by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Naija News recalls that Tinubu’s administration had proposed to spend N5.095 billion on a presidential yacht.

This was part of the expenditures presented in the 2023 supplementary budget the President submitted to the National Assembly for approval.

The Nigerian Navy proposed a capital expenditure of ₦42.3 billion and a recurrent expenditure of ₦20.42 billion, with N5.095 billion going into the acquisition of a presidential yacht.

Reacting to the development via his X handle, Seyi Law lamented that the proposal is insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.

He subsequently urged Tinubu to reverse the decision.

The comedian wrote: “I am absolutely not in support of the procurement of the presidential yacht. It is quite insensitive to the plight of Nigerians at this moment to even rationalize it. I call on the president, @officialABAT, to once again prove to Nigerians that he listens. Thank you, your Excellency.”

Your Administration Is A Dynasty Of Thieves – Sowore Knocks Tinubu Over Proposed Purchase Of N5 Billion Yacht

Meanwhile, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has condemned the proposed purchase of a N5 billion presidential yacht.

Sowore described President Bola Tinubu’s administration as a dynasty of thieves, adding that he is trying to deceive Nigerians.

Reacting via his X account, Sowore wondered why the government would buy a yacht for a man who according to him has not been to a stream before.

Speaking further, he claimed that Tinubu is trying to deceive Nigerians in his outburst over his son’s presence at the FEC meeting.

According to him, “The @officialABAT dynasty of thieves! They want to buy a “Presidential Yacht” for N5billion for a man who’s never been to a stream before, they want to renovate a Presidential Lodge in Lagos for N4b for a man who just built a mansion in Lagos that stretches from Bourdillon to Queens Drive in Ikoyi! Reason the joker was grandstanding about his son, Seyi sneaking into FEC meetings just to fool the unwary.”
