Tinubu Behind Reports That I Want To Dump PDP - Atiku

The first appeal to be decided by the Supreme Court regarding the outcome of the 2023 election is the one filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

This was confirmed on Thursday by the seven-member panel of the apex court, led by Justice Inyang Okoro.

Atiku is seeking the disqualification of President Bola Tinubu on the basis of alleged certificate forgery.

Naija News understands that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, through his lawyer, Chris Uche, on Monday tendered fresh evidence before the Supreme Court to prove his case against Tinubu.

The Supreme Court will decide in its judgement today whether the fresh evidence, critical to Atiku’s case, is legally acceptable and can be reviewed as part of evidence submitted by a party.

Atiku through his lawyer, Chris Uche, accused Tinubu of forgery concerning the president’s academic records from the Chicago State University (CSU).

The lead judgment in the appeal filed by the PDP was prepared by Justice Inyang Okoro, and he’s currently reading the judgment.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will do a live transmission of Thursday’s final judgement on the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, approved the live transmission of the Supreme Court Judgment.
