I'm One Of The Lucky Survivors Of Abject Poverty - Tinubu

The National Vice Chairman, South East Zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu has said President Bola Tinubu administration is on course.

Arodiogbu shared his thoughts during an interview with The Sun.

He argued that what the president needs is less distraction from the opposition to focus on the urgent task of repositioning the country.

The APC chieftain insisted that he has utmost belief in the abilities of the president, adding that it was evident that the country would soon get better considering that Tinubu hit the ground running.

He said, “His Excellency’s administration is quite on point, having hit the ground running. Our dear country will definitely be better for it. I’ve no doubt about the abilities of His Excellency to turn things around.”

When asked if there was a possibility that APC would save Nigeria from an imminent collapse, he replied, “Absolutely! The possibility is clearly there. Nigerians made the best choice in Tinubu. All he needs is less distraction from the opposition for him to focus on the urgent task of repositioning our country.”

Addressing allegations that over 90 percent of people on Tinubu’s ministerial list have corruption cases, Arodiogbu insisted there was no truth to to the claim.

“I’m afraid these are wild and unsubstantiated rumours not worthy of my time. It’s unfortunate that segments of the public still fall victim to opposition propaganda and wallow in sentiments and hearsay,” he said.
