The manager of Fulham, Marco Silva, has extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2025-2026 season.

This means that Marco Silva will remain at the club for two more seasons after the ongoing 2023-2024 season.

Recall that the Premier League club appointed the 46-year-old Portuguese tactician the coach of the club in July 2021.

Before his contract was extended by two more years, the deal he signed with Fulham in 2021 was due to expire at the end of this season.

Last season, Marco Silva helped Fulham to achieve the unthinkable as he guided the team to finish in the top ten of the Premier League table for the first time in 11 years.

So far in the 2023-2024 season, the Portuguese tactician has helped Fulham to record three wins, two draws, and four defeats in 9 Premier League games. They are currently sitting on the 13th spot with just a point below heavily funded Chelsea who are sitting on the 10th spot.

After extending his contract with Fulham earlier today, October 24, Marco Silva said, “I’m really pleased to sign a new contract as it was something we had been discussing for some time.

“It’s always a good sign when both parties are happy and want to continue working together. I feel the business is not done yet, we’ve had two great seasons, and the goal is clearly there to sustain this club in the Premier League.

“It is important to feel the trust and have the support of our owners. My relationship with them has been really important in this decision. Let’s continue together on this long journey.”
