Thomas Tuchel Hails ‘World Class’ Harry Kane

The manager of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel, has hailed his new signing, Harry Kane who he has described as a world-class player.

Harry Kane who spent most of his football career at Tottenham Hotspur, joined Bayern Munich on August 12, 2023, for a transfer fee worth €95 million.

Since his arrival in the German Bundesliga, the 30-year-old England international has scored a total of 10 goals and provided five assists in 11 games in all competitions.

In the German Bundesliga alone, Harry Kane has scored a whopping 9 goals and provided four assists in 8 league games as he is currently the second-highest goalscorer in the league so far this season.

Kane who has scored one goal and provided one assist in two Champions League games for Bayern Munich is expected to help Bayern maintain their unbeaten run in the competition when they take on Galatasaray at 5:45 p.m. On Tuesday, October 24.

Ahead of the game, coach Tuchel said he and his team ought to be proud of themselves for persuading the Three Lions of England captain to join Bayern. The former Chelsea manager stressed that Kane would showcase his full potential at the club when he is fully settled.

The German tactician said: “We persuaded the captain of England to leave England and I think we can pat ourselves on the back for that for a while!”.

“He’s absolutely world-class — talent, ability, aura, personality. When he feels at home here, we’ll see his full potential”.

Note that Harry Kane has until June 30, 2027, before his current contract with Bayern Munich expires.
