Keyamo Visits Caverton Helicopters In Lagos [Video]

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has announced his visit to the Caverton Helicopters in Lagos State.

In a post via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, Keyamo said he visited the company where he inspected the company’s state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.

Keyamo revealed that one of his objectives of the ministry is to support and encourage local operators. Keyamo also said he took a crash course in piloting a helicopter with the company’s very modern helicopter simulator.

He wrote: “On Friday, I rounded off my week by paying a visit to the Caverton Helicopters in Lagos, a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group (COSG), where I inspected the company’s state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.

“One of my KPIs is to support and encourage our local operators. I also took a crash course in piloting a helicopter with the company’s very modern helicopter simulator. Guess what? I was then handed an Honorary Captain’s Certificate.”

Tinubu’s Certificate Saga: The Level Of Illiteracy Displayed By Some TV Anchors Is Stunning – Keyamo

Meanwhile, Keyamo berated some television anchors over their comments on the controversy surrounding the certificate of President Bola Tinubu.

In a post via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Keyamo said the level of illiteracy displayed by some television anchors in the country on the controversy surrounding the academic records of President Tnubu is stunning.

Keyamo argued that the Chicago State University (CSU) has not denied the authenticity of the certificate being paraded by Tinubu, nor is there any forensic report that the certificate is fake or altered.

The minister said his tweet in 2019 on the certificate controversy of former President Muhammadu Buhari would have been applicable if CSU admitted that it issued the replacement certificate and denied its authenticity.
