‘Ademola Lookman May Join Inter Milan Or Juventus In 2024’

Ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window, Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus are reportedly considering bids for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

Recall that Ademola Lookman played the 2021–2022 season on loan at Leicester City before joining Atalanta in the summer of 2022 for €9 million with performance-related bonuses.

The 25-year-old Nigerian forward scored 18 goals while playing for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester in 98 Premier League games.

He scored six goals in 26 Premier League appearances while on loan from Leipzig to Leicester, catching the eye of scouts from Atalanta and earning a transfer to Serie A.

Lookman made 33 appearances for Atalanta in all competitions last season, contributing to 23 goals (15 goals, 8 assists).

After a fair start in Serie A, the Nigerian player could join another Italian side next summer. Recent reports from Italian publication, Mercaro, claimed that Juventus and Inter Milan are considering making an offer for Ademola Lookman next summer.

The publication wrote, “How much is Lookman worth now? Atalanta and the two clubs tracking the player will be wondering.

“The concrete risk that Beppe Marotta and Cristiano Giuntoli want to take would be to bet on a player who is not yet ready to make the leap to a big league. It will now be up to Lookman to demonstrate his qualities and change gear.”

Lookman is now valued at €30 million by Transfermarkt, making him Atalanta’s second-most valuable player after center defender Giorgio Scalvini ($40 million).

The Nigeria international has scored just two goals in ten games in all competitions for Atalanta so far this season.
