North London-based Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that the club’s new signing, Manor Solomon has successfully undergone surgery earlier today, October 5, 2023.

Tottenham Hotspur were left with no choice but to allow Manor Solomon to undergo surgery after suffering a meniscus injury to his right knee in training earlier this week.

“The forward has undergone surgery today and will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately”, a statement from the club read.

Manor Solomon joined Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer on July 11, 2023, after a one-season loan at another Premier League club, Fulham.

Solomon took advantage of the FIFA permission given to foreign players contracted to Ukrainian clubs to suspend their contracts and move to clubs outside the country due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The 24-year-old Israeli left-winger who was contracted to FC Shakhtar Donetsk then, first left the club on loan to Fulham before he forced his way to Tottenham on a free transfer, a development which didn’t go down well with Shakhtar.

Since he arrived at Tottenham Hotspur, he has been a great addition to the club as he has played 5 Premier League games in which he provided two assists so far this season.

Manor Solomon’s contract with Spurs is expected to expire on June 30, 2028.
