Tackle Hunger, Insecurity Before It's Too Late - Shariah Council Tells Tinubu

The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has said President Bola Tinubu is fine and in good health.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Sani said President Tinubu is in Europe meeting with investors and having bilateral meetings.

The Kaduna governor also commended the president on his inaugural speech at the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the United States.

Senator Sani stated that the speech has portrayed Nigeria and Africa in a good light, stressing that Western countries have seen that the continent now has a respectable leader.

He, however, stated that there is no need for Nigerians to worry about the whereabouts of the president, adding that the opposition should stop the propaganda about Tinubu.

Recall that Phrank Shaibu, an aide to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, had claimed that the president made a stopover at Paris, France, without informing Nigerians.

Shaibu made the claim in a statement titled “Release details of petrol landing cost, pricing template, Atiku’s aide dares FG,” in response to an earlier statement issued by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In the president’s itinerary for the trip, his last activity was billed for September 21, 2023, a meeting with Nigerians living in the United States.

President Tinubu arrived in New York on September 18 to attend the High-Level meetings of the 78th session of UNGA which opened with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) summit.

However, reports emerged last Friday that President Tinubu had on the 21st of September departed New York.
