Piers Morgan Begs Victor Osimhen To Dump Napoli For Arsenal

English TV personality Piers Morgan has urged Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli for Premier League club, Arsenal.

Piers Morgan who is a die-hard Arsenal fan gave Osimhen this advice after Napoli used their official TikTok page to mock the 24-year-old striker for missing a penalty against Bologna last weekend.

Since the video, Osimhen and the Italian Serie A club have been at odds. He made his annoyance over the development known by snubbing his teammates when he arrived at the team’s hotel ahead of their game against Udinese on Wednesday, September 27.

Before then, Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, had threatened to sue the reigning Italian champions for mocking his client.

The incident and the fallout from it could motivate clubs that showed interest in him last summer to reignite their interest in him in January or next summer.

Some of the clubs who pushed to sign the Nigerian footballer in last summer’s transfer window included Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, and Manchester United.

Hence, Piers Morgan decided to take advantage of Osimhen’s displeasure at Napoli to remind the Nigeria international to consider joining Arsenal.

“Don’t take this terrible treatment @victorosimhen9 – come to Arsenal instead,” Morgan wrote on X.

If Osimhen decides to leave Napoli in January as a result of threats from his agency to sue the team, teams from Saudi Arabia will take the lead in the quest for his signature.

Real Madrid are also considering the Nigerian as they seek to strengthen their offensive strategy in the wake of Karim Benzema’s exit.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen has returned to winning ways as he scored a goal in Napoli’s 4-1 win over Udinese on Wednesday, September 27. The goal came less than 48 hours after Napoli mocked him for missing a penalty via their TikTok page.
