President-elect, Bola Tinubu's Son Linked To $10.8 Million London Mansion Fraud

The first son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu has congratulated his father on his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

Naija News recalls that the tribunal on Wednesday dismissed petitions filed by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate in the February 25 election, Peter Obi; and also the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, among others.

Tribunal, while ruling on whether the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was right to return Tinubu as the duly elected by a majority of lawful votes cast, held that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar did not successfully prove his petition seeking to remove Tinubu from office.

The petition filed by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi was also struck out by the tribunal.

The judgment was delivered by the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, assisted by other members of the panel-Justices Stephen Adah, Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf, Moses Ugo and Abba Mohammed.

Justice Haruna Tsammani while giving his verdict on Wednesday said, “This petition accordingly lacks merit. I affirm the return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties are to bear their cost.”

Reacting, Seyi, on Wednesday night, shared a photo of his father on Instagram, congratulating him on his victory.

“Congratulations once again Mr President @officialasiwajubat,” he wrote, adding that the “great work” the president was doing would continue.
