PHOTOS: Suspected Yahoo Boy Tortures Apprentices For Failing To Meet Target

A suspected cyber fraudster, Precious Mayor, has been arrested by the officers of the Lagos State Police Command for alleged hostage-taking at Igbogbo in the Ikorodu area of the state.

Naija News gathered that the suspected fraudster was arrested alongside three other accomplices, identified as Prince Afam, Israel Simon, and Emmanuela Mayor.

The victims were said to have travelled from Imo State to receive instruction in cyber fraud from Precious Mayor in Lagos.

However, when they failed to meet their targets just a few days into their apprenticeship, Mayor reportedly confined them to a room and subjected them to physical harm.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested the suspect on Tuesday, August 26, along with three other individuals identified as his accomplices: Prince Afam, Israel Simon, and Emmanuela Mayor, who is Simon’s wife.

Confirming the incident in a chat with The Punch, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the arrested suspects have been moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department.

He said, “The victims were tortured and deprived of their freedom. The arrested suspects have been moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department.”
