Ganduje Commissions APC Campaign Council Secretariat In Imo

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has said the party will win the upcoming Kogi governorship election by a landslide because of its achievement in the state.

Ganduje expressed confidence that the party will record 99 percent success in the November governorship election, above the 90 percent it recorded during the 2023 general election.

He said this on Friday at a dinner organised to honour the members of the APC National Campaign Council for the Kogi governorship election who are in the state for the official inauguration of the Committee.

Ganusje described Kogi as a ‘safe state’ for APC, stating that President Bola Tinubu will provide an enabling environment required for peaceful and credible conduct of the gubernatorial poll.

He also said the APC National Working Committee will support the party’s candidate while urging that all hands should be on deck for the victory of the party in the election.

In his remarks, Governor Yahaya Bello assured that the party would win more than 90% of the votes that will be cast in the November election.

Bello said the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, has been well groomed, with the needed experience and competence to move the state forward in all sectors.

Governor Bello assured that Ododo and his running mate, Oyibo Salifu, have all it takes to sustain and build on his achievements in Kogi State.

He recalled that Kogi State used to be majorly a PDP State, saying that he has converted it to an APC State through his leadership style, successes, and achievements.
