How Some Nigerian Celebrities Reacted To The Arrest Of ‘Gays’ Conducting A Wedding Ceremony In Delta

Some Nigerian celebrities have reacted to the arrest of some young men linked to a gay wedding in Delta State.

Naija News recalls that the Delta police command in Asaba had on Tuesday apprehended over 100 suspects allegedly involved in a gay wedding ceremony that took place within the state.

Security operatives subsequently paraded the said suspects, and journalists spoke to some of them.

Celebrities like Georgina Onuoha, Victoria Inyama, Uche Maduagwu, Chinedu Ikedie aka Aki, and Mr. Funny took to social media to share their thoughts on the development.

Georgina Onuoha wrote, “Leave these people alone. They did not kill, steal or harm anyone.

“They are not the cause of Nigeria’s demise and predicaments. Let them live their lives.

“You that are busy committing fraud, sleeping around with married men and women, lying etc You are no better than these folks living their lives. Until many of you work in the medical field and understand the mechanisms behind sexual orientation, you will continue to live by the preachings of hate many con artist who call themselves pastors have poured into you as preachings.”

Uche Maduagwu wrote, “This is so unfair.”

Chinedu Ikedieze wrote, “Na wa oh, wetin dis economy dey cause”

Victoria Inyama wrote, “Parade the poor ones whilst idolising the rich ones. Make it make sense.”

Mr. Funny wrote, “the devil is a liar.”
