APC: May The Lord Save Wike Like He Saved Jonathan - Shehu Sani Prays

Former Senator Representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has asserted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no business in court challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, which produced Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President.

Naija News reports that former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, a member of PDP, was one of 45 ministers inaugurated at the presidential villa on Monday.

During a press conference on Monday at the FCT Ministry’s office in Abuja, Wike said PDP cannot sanction him for accepting President Tinubu’s ministerial appointment.

Recall that before his appointment, there have been calls by some members of the PDP for Wike’s suspension over his association with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his acceptance of the ministerial offer.

While addressing the call for suspension, Wike said he got approval from PDP leaders at the national and state levels to accept the ministerial appointment.

The ex-governor described the move for his suspension as ridiculous, saying he wrote a letter to the acting PDP National Chairman, Iliya Damagum, to be part of Tinubu’s cabinet and got approval.

Reacting to the disclosure, Sani said if PDP approved and endorsed its members to join the administration of Tinubu, then they have no business in court.

He tweeted, “If the PDP has approved and endorsed its members joining the Government, then it has no business being in Court.”
