Tottenham Hotspur Vs Manchester United clash will arguably be the biggest game in the Premier League match week two as the two teams continue to push for a better season.

Tottenham Hotspur are going into the home game which will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, without their all-time top scorer Harry Kane who is now a Bayern Munich player. They lost out of European football and are venturing into this season’s campaign with a new manager, Ange Postecoglou.

Despite being without Kane in their opening Premier League game, Spurs were able to come from behind to draw 2-2 with giants slayers Brentford.

However, facing revigorated coach Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will be the real test for coach Postecoglou who won a treble with Scottish giants Celtic last season.

Ten Hag’s boys started the new campaign on a high by beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Old Trafford last weekend. Even though the outcome of the game was overshadowed by VAR’s failure to award Wolves a late-minute penalty, the result would give Manchester United’s fans a lot to look forward to ahead of their visit to North London.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Manchester: Team News

Spurs’ Argentine center-back Romero was forced to leave the Premier League match against Brentford last weekend with a head injury just a few minutes after scoring the game’s first goal for the North London side.

Bryan Gil (groin), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Fraser Forster (back), and Alfie Whiteman (ankle) could also miss Saturday’s game alongside Romero.

On the other hand, Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez had a slight ankle injury against Wolves, but RaphaĆ«l Varane, his center-back partner, downplayed the severity of his partner’s issue after the game.

Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire are available in case Martinez is not given the go-ahead to play due to fitness issues.

The five United players who will certainly miss Saturday’s game are Rasmus Hojlund (back), Kobbie Mainoo (ankle), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Amad Diallo (knee), and Tom Heaton (calf).

Tottenham Hotspur Probable lineup: Vicario; Emerson, Sanchez, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Skipp, Maddison; Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son

Manchester United Probable lineup: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Fernandes, Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Rashford, Sancho

Prediction: The game will be a difficult one to predict but all things being equal, Manchester United who have a 40 percent chance of winning the game should beat Spurs who have just a 34 percent chance of winning. Hence, the game could end 2-1 in favour of United.
