Nigerian comedian, AY Makun has broken silence following the fire outbreak on Sunday at his Lekki home in Lagos.

Recall, a video filmed by someone who claimed to be a neighbor of AY showed fire at the comic star’s Lekki mansion in Lagos.

Speaking on the incident, the comic actor and producer took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to appreciate everyone who reached out to him during this difficult time.

The comedian said that pain is temporary when one finds themselves with the right partner to journey life with.

He added that, he believes God will never take anything away from one’s life without finding something better to replace it with.

He wrote: “Pain can be temporary when you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

“As we continue to walk through the journey of life together, we shall replace the lies of the enemies with the truth of God. One thing we know for sure is that God never takes away something from your life without replacing it with something better.

“Thanks to everyone of you for thinking of us during this difficult time. It is so wonderful to know that we are on your minds and in your prayers. THE GRACEFUL WALK TO GLORY CONTINUES.”
