Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have rejected Bayern Munich’s most recent transfer offer for English striker Harry Kane.

Even though Harry Kane is ready to move to the German Bundesliga side, Spurs and Bayern are not close to reaching an agreement for the services of the 30-year-old England international.

Naija News gathered that Bayern’s latest transfer offer for the services of Kane is around £86 million which is far from the reported price tag Tottenham Hotspur placed on the Englishman which is said to be around £100 million.

When Bayern Munich submitted this recent bid, the reigning German Bundesliga champions reportedly told the North London club that they won’t make another offer which means that this is the last attempt to sign the England international.

However, with the transfer window still open for more than three weeks, it is still unclear if the German Bundesliga club would continue to push for Kane’s signature or try other options.

Kane who has scored 280 goals in 435 games in all competitions for Tottenham Hotspur has not shown any sign that he is willing to extend his contract with Spurs this summer and the contract is expected to expire next summer.

While Tottenham Hotspur have rejected three bids from Bayern so far this summer, the Premier League side are reportedly concerned that they might lose the England international for free if he is not sold in this transfer window.

Also, there are reports that Kane had told Spurs that if he is not sold before the commencement of the 2023-2024 Premier League campaign in the coming weekend, he would remain at the club for the rest of the season and leave for free next summer.

Despite the transfer saga, Harry Kane led Spurs in a pre-season friendly game against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday. He scored four goals as Spurs spanked the Ukrainian side 5-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
