Shehu Sani Reacts As Davido Deletes Controversial Music Video

A former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted after Afrobeats superstar, Davido deleted a controversial video from his Twitter handle.

Naija News recalls that the DMW boss had come under heavy backlash after sharing a music clip which came off as offensive to Muslims.

The video of the song, ‘Jaye Lo’ by Davido’s signee, Logos Olori, caused a stir on social media until the singer pulled down the content Sunday night.

Reacting to the development via Twitter, Sani praised Davido for taking the video down.

He also urged him to address his Muslim fans.

Sani noted that Davido remains one of Nigeria’s best global brands, adding that his success is an inspiration to the younger generation and a source of national pride.

He wrote, “I’m delighted to learn that Davido has deleted the controversial video from his handle, even though it can’t be expunged from the cyberspace.
