A Nigerian man named Godswill Okon has shared amazing testimony of welcoming a child after 13 years of waiting.

Naija News reports that the excited father took to his Facebook page to share photos of himself and his newborn while recounting the years of pain.

Okon narrated how people mocked and shamed him for not having a child and also expressed appreciation to God for coming through for him.

While gushing over his adorable baby, the Okon promised to bring up the child in God’s ways.

He wrote: “She just opened her eye since after birth, and we looked eyeball to eyeball. E sweet oooo to be a father. We had a father and daughter conversation, and at length, she smiled at me. And I promised to always teach her the ways of the Lord.

“I didn’t forget to tell her how priceless she meant to me. I was waiting for 13 years with shame, pain and mockery from people not having a child, but today, God decided to silence my accusers and feed them with shame… Jesus, you are so good to me”

In other news, an unusual discovery in a plate of food led to chaos at the popular Alaba International Market in Ojo, Lagos, on Friday.

A woman identified as Ebere found a piece of meat resembling a male child’s private part in her soup, bought from a local food vendor in the market.

This startling find incited a flurry of activity as traders and customers thronged to see the unexpected ingredient.

When Ebere, a vendor of household items at the market, raised the alarm, bystanders rushed to inspect the oddity.

An eyewitness told Vanguard Metro, “We all took turns to examine it. It didn’t look like that of a goat or a dog.”
