The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) representative for Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North, Oyo state, Anthony Adepoju has declared his readiness to collaborate with President Bola Tinubu.

This is despite the fact that they are members of different political parties.

While speaking on Kaftan TV on Tuesday, Adepoju clarified that his focus is on Nigeria’s advancement, and he believes collaboration with the current president is the path forward.

He stated, “Tinubu is our president and I am ready to work with him.”

Adepoju shared his commitment to tackling the problems facing his constituents, especially issues related to power supply.

He outlined his belief that taking action was preferable to waiting for improvements to happen on their own. This proactive mindset, he stated, was a major factor behind his decision to run for office.

Adepoju also pointed out how the poor power situation has led to a migration from his constituency, stifling local growth.

He described how the lack of reliable electricity has driven educated and skilled residents to relocate, impacting the local economy.

“Many of us are educated and skilful but left due to poor power supply and this is affecting our economy amongst many others,” said Adepoju.
